GETTING HERE FROM ASHLEY CROSS

Ashley Cross is a short drive by car from the clinic. From the Green and go up from Commercial Road and along Bournemouth Road to the new M&S roundabout at Redlands Retail Park and head towards Surrey Road. There’s free parking on site and on my own driveway when you arrive. If you’re taking the train, use Parkstone station and it’s one stop to Branksome. Then a short walk through to Coy Pond and up to Branksome Hill Road. If you book a taxi then use our postcode BH4 9LE for ease of directions.

WHO I SEE FROM ASHLEY CROSS

Ashley Cross has both an urban and a village feel and is a buzzing hive of activity, yoga on the Green, thriving cafes and bars galore. The huge 3 acre central Green with its walkways and fountain plays host to events and is a proper community hub. Parkstone Station on Station Road, tucked behind The Cow, feeds a steady flow of commuters into the area. I see a lot of people who spend their day standing or walking for work, alongside racket-sport injuries from The East Dorset Tennis & Croquet Club just along Salterns Road, where padel in particular has brought in a new wave of shoulder and elbow strain (more on that below). Families out and about around the Green and St Peter’s Church on Parr Street are common too and with Baden-Powell School off Pottery Road close by, a fair few patients are juggling the school run alongside all of it. All this keeps Ashley Cross busy and thriving.

About Your Chiropractor: Leslie Budzynski DC

I’m Leslie Budzynski, a GCC registered chiropractor (No. 00043) and BCA member (No. 0072) with 39 years of clinical experience. I qualified from what’s now Health Sciences University (then AECC) in 1987 and ran my own clinic and satellite practices in London for over a decade before moving back to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth Chiropractic is a single-practitioner clinic soI see and treat every patient myself, at every appointment, from your first visit through every review. There are no associates or locums, so there’s no variability in who you see or how you’re treated. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am–6pm and Saturdays 7.30am–3pm, with early slots for people fitting this around work.

You can book online using my online diary which shows all current availability of appointments, so you can choose whenever suits best. You can also call and speak to me directly on 01202 937568.  You don’t need a GP referral first.

Most patients are seen within 48 hours of getting in touch, that is my goal but I can usually fit you in sooner. The Clinic is open 7.30am–6pm on weekdays and until 3pm on Saturdays, so there’s usually something that fits around work or the school run.

Treatment here at Bournemouth Chiropractic costs £75 for the initial consultation, examination and first treatment and £65 for follow-up appointments. Fees are straightforward and there are no hidden fees and no pressure to commit to a course of treatment. See full details of costs on my rates page.

Regularly, yes I regularly treat sports injuries such as elbow and arm complaints. Padel and tennis both load the shoulder and elbow repetitively and I see plenty of players from the club on Salterns Road with exactly that kind of overuse pain. I’ll look at the mechanics of the joint and the movement pattern behind it, not just the sore spot.

Bournemouth Chiropractic is a single-practitioner clinic, which means every patient is seen and treated by me, Leslie Budzynski DC, personally at every single appointment from the initial consultation, every follow-up through to every review. There are no associates, locums and no variability in the standard of care or the person you see.

Added to this the clinic is open 6 days a week, including Saturdays. We offer appintments throughout the day including before and after work and during lunch breaks if need be.

I have 39 years of clinical experience to draw upon, graduating from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1987, BCA registered and has been GCC registered since 1999 (Reg. No. 00043). Before establishing here in Bournemouth in 2000, I ran my own clinic and satellite practices in London for thirteen years., so I have a wealth of knowledge to offer you

That level of experience and continuity of care is rare in Bournemouth and makes a significant difference to patient outcomes.

“His knowledge is second to none ”

I went to see Leslie with an agonising persistent pain which was preventing me from walking unless I took strong pain killers. Leslie identified the issue and saved me from unnecessary X-rays and painkillers. His knowledge was second to none and really helped me understand what had caused the pain in the first place. Within a few weeks, the pain had subsided and I ran a half marathon!
